Method for Prolonging the Shelf Life of Apples after Storage

چکیده

This study investigated the effects of use low magnetic fields as a potential method for improving quality apples after storage. The fruit were exposed to 100 μT 8 h per day and kept period two weeks in room conditions. results showed that samples treated with field generally had higher value ratio total soluble solid titratable acidity compared untreated samples, which indicated their quality. Continuous treatment influenced mechanical properties apples, demonstrated by greater firmness, lower weight loss suppressed CO2 production stored After new product was produced (the acidity) an extended shelf life/lower respiration rate. Therefore, can be used extend life needs further investigations.
